Our recommendations
Greenback & Co
The Celestion Greenback is a legendary guitar speaker introduced in the late 1960s. Its name "Greenback" comes from the green color ring originally placed around the speaker. Quickly becoming a favorite among guitarists, this speaker significantly shaped the sound of rock music.
The Greenback is known for its characteristic sound, defined by a balanced mix of mid-range, warm bass reproduction, and clear high frequencies. It has defined the sound of numerous rock albums.
Over the years, Celestion has developed various versions of the Greenback, including different impedances and power ratings to meet the needs of different guitarists. Other guitar speaker manufacturers have also released numerous Greenback reproductions that either match or surpass the original.
Despite or perhaps because of the constantly growing variety of new speaker models, the Celestion Greenback remains the top choice for many musicians.

NOS = New Old Stock
Even though these tubes come from the heyday of tube technology and have been around for several decades, they are actually brand new, as tubes do not age when stored properly. NOS tubes are often considered to be of high quality, both in terms of sound and durability. There are several reasons for this, most of which are related to production techniques and materials used. For example, modern production tubes cannot contain lead in the glass in order to be classified as "RoHS-compliant." Additionally, the expertise may no longer be available, as the technicians from that time have since retired or passed away, taking their knowledge with them to the grave.
It is fascinating to see (and hear) how these "historic" tubes can still impress with their unparalleled quality and characteristic sound to this day.
