    I have bought a quartet of JJ EL34 to preserve my SED EL34 for my 1969 50W Marshall 1986 Bass Model.

    JJ EL34 are absolutely competitive with old SED EL34..just a little little bit more raw when heavily overdriven, but great sound, very ample and solid bass and great all around presentation.
    Details are present and the midrange is warm and well centered.
    The sound is very well balanced and absolutely in the same League of SED, with a very good headroom.
    Quite 3D and not in your face and 2D like unfortunately all reflektor EL34.
