Incredibly good speaker if you want late 60\'s early 70\'s rock sound with early breakup. I put two in my Peavey Valveking 112 combo (yes they fit, barely!) and I also run my Orange Dual Terror head through them. Both amps sound beautiful with these speakers. In a shitty open back chinese combo that is...

For Metal? Probably not.

They are not very efficient, but that can be a good thing too.
