Genalex Gold Lion 12AX7 / ECC83 - Reissue

Original Genalex Gold Lion ECC83/B759 tubes are considered among the best 12AX7 types ever made. They are hard to find and when they are available, they are expensive. They exhibit a large detailed soundstage that is sought after by discerning audiophiles who demand the highest quality sound. The reissue Genalex Gold Lion ECC83/B759 recreates the sound signature of the original.
To be labeled Genalex Gold Lion, tubes must endure and pass the toughest testing the industry offers.

Sonically similar to the "normal" JJ 12AX7, but the overall sound is "fuller" and "stronger" with a more powerful bass. Visually, compared to the normal JJ 12AX7, the long anode plates stand out, as well as a slightly higher current. Suits well in guitar and bass amps, but also in audio and high-end areas.

All JJ gold preamp tubes are selected within a close tolerance and handtested for best sound and quality. Furthermore all pins are gold plated to achieve best electrical contact.
What about the sound? It is still the famous and well known JJ brownsound - warm and smooth.

Note: Tubes equipped with long plates are commonly associated with a "warmer" or "richer" sound, whereas those with shorter plates tend to deliver a "tighter sound". However, tubes featuring long plates exhibit increased sensitivity to vibrations and mechanical disturbances, rendering them less ideal for critical applications.
