This transformer is a very good quality OT from Hammond, but lacks something of real "marshall-y" tone. The problem is the lamination,a real 784-139 use a 0.50MM not-grain oriented lamination. The 1750N have M6 GO lamination instead, that is electronically bettere but make the OT sounds more like a 100 watt Marshall, than a classic 50 watt plexy. This OT have less midrange crunch and a more tight but "less warm" bottom end,It sounds very good but is a bit different from a real Drake 784-139.
