CERAMIC Vintage

The JENSEN® "C" series speakers were developed because the world's supply of cobal (Co in AlNiCo) slump, making this raw material more expensive. While ceramic magnets are larger in size than comparable AlNiCo magnets of the same gauss strenght, their cost is lower. "C" series JENSEN® speakers use same cones and voice coils comparable to our AlNiCo series speakers, thus providing a similar tone but at a reduced price.

    Very clean and worm tones with wider range than Celestion 8-15, so it's perfect for clean, bluesy and chime-y tones. It highlights the strat's lower E string. Really love it! Used in an old modelling VOX AD15VT. string. Really love it! Used in an old modelling VOX AD15VT.

    Using in a MkI Little Giant clone and a 5f2a based amp and I'm very happy with it. Lovely top end chime without harshness and although it may not have the harmonic complexity of an alnico it's still very sweet.
