The rectifier works, that's the good part. The voltage drop is significantly less than in an old 5Y3. If that is good or bad depends on the amp and taste I guess. Ended up with a bit much voltage to the tubes in my case. The worst part is that this tube was really not suited to be used in a combo. I got a big rattle / resonance sound around the low A string note + - a half step when used in my Princeton clone. So my old 50's 5Y3 went back in and the rattle/noise was gone again.
