This chassis is based on a regular HiWatt chassis which was used for amplifiers up to 100 Watt. The chassis was adapted and optimized for the YAH100 kit but get used for other HiWatt Clones too.

For use with a DR504 version you need to drill extra mounting holes for the output transformer. The test of the cut outs are fine. I have added some extra holes at the rear for FX send and return sockets

Note that the cutout for the potmeters is 9,45mm. It is recommended to order the potentiometers as 3/8 version

After observing the new style Hiwatt chassis I noticed that the cutout for the impedance selector switch is 11,4mm. The shop selector switch could do with a cutout of 10,2mm. Also the hole to prevent unwanted rotation of this switch and for the pot.meter is missing. I have added these by myself by producing a small template

Very good chassis with cut-outs for options already provided. Can be used versatile i.e. to build a DR504 etc too. Due to the original universal design by Dave Reeves this replica is recommended for all Hiwatt lovers
