The TT12AX7 impresses with its fine and detailed reproduction of the highs, which is maintained even at high amplification levels. Due to a higher H3 part, the TT12AX7 sounds significantly cleaner than many other 12AX7/ECC83 tubes, which makes the bass range appear much tighter. We therefore especially recommend this tube for styles such as clean, crunch, and metal, where high amplification and clear transparency are required.

FAQ: If I order two or more of these tubes, are they all "the same"?
Yes, the tubes are all "matched" and selected for the in the description mentioned amplifiers.
FAQ: Can I replace the tubes myself or are adjustments needed?
Adjustments are not possible on the listed amplifier (unless a bias potentiometer has been added afterwards). The replacement can therefore be done without adjustments.

The Sovtek EL84 series produces an unbeatable smooth, warm distortion sound. Excellent replacements in vintage VOX AC-30's and the like, very popular in Fender, Crate and Peavey amps.

The Sovtek 12AX7WC has a little bit more gain than the Sovtek 12AX7WB and  the 12AX7WA. The noise floor is still pretty low compared with other 12AX7 tubes and the dependabiliyt very high.

All JJ preamp tubes are selected within a close tolerance and handtested for best sound and quality. Furthermore all pins are gold plated to achieve best electrical contact.
What about the sound? It is still the famous and well known JJ brownsound - warm and smooth.
